Really great class. Grace does a great job of teaching the fundamentals of korean grammar, vocabulary etc. She makes it so easy to learn. The class was paced based on the levels of the students. It helped me feel more comfortable utilizing korean. Overall a great curriculum and teacher! Grateful to have found a class that finally made me feel comfortable speaking Korean.

I took Grace's Conversation 1 class in July, and I can't recommend it enough! I had been doing lessons on different apps for over a year, and felt like I knew some basic rules, but fully panicked whenever I had to try and speak to my Korean in-laws. In the level 1 class, Grace creates an environment where you will quickly feel totally safe speaking and reading in front of others - no matter how much you might mess up. She explains things SO well, and always gives room for questions. And as a bonus, you'll probably make some new friends along the way. If you're debating the class - definitely do it!

The class was fast-paced and covered a lot of material. Students were given lots of practice reading and speaking with encouragement and corrections throughout the course.

I enjoyed the class and instant feedback on pronunciation as well as examples of how the intonation and phrasing of the various sentences is supposed to sound like.

I highly recommend this course and am looking forward to the level 2 class!

Taking this course was the best decision I could've made for reaching the next step in my language-learning goals. I have learned so much in such a short time, and I really think that having a good teacher and being in a small group class made all the difference. Grace is SUCH a skilled teacher. She is able to adapt the class to meet everyone's specific needs. She supports us in our individual weak areas, offering kind but very constructive feedback, and encourages us where we are confident, always making sure we still have to challenge ourselves. She creates the kind of learning environment where you can feel safe to make mistakes and get the kind of out-loud speaking practice that's really required to become more confident in learning and speaking. There's lots of reading and writing involved every time, as well. And having the small group dynamic offered even more support and encouragement to keep trying and keep growing. 1000/10, would highly recommend.

I am so glad I signed up for this class. It was very fun, engaging and I learned a lot. Great opportunity to start speaking, making mistakes, laughing and most of all improving your language skills. Grace does a wonderful job!

The Conversation Level One class is outstanding.  The written materials are logical and easy to follow.  The class format is participatory and interactive.  Grace makes it fun and she is extremely patient and helpful in explaining the grammar rules and nuances.  I learned a lot about conversational Korean and now have a good foundation for continuing in my progression.  Definitely glad I did this class and highly recommend it to anyone who is ready to have fun learning!
